TANGERANG - The Tangerang City Government has officially opened the Pre-Student Admission System (Pre-SPMB) stage for 2026 for primary school (SD) and junior secondary school (SMP) levels. This stage serves as the initial process before the main SPMB implementation, which will determine the admission of new students to public schools. Registration for Pre-SPMB 2026 is scheduled to run from 13 April to 8 July 2026 for SD level, and from 13 April to 5 July 2026 for SMP level. The method for registering for Pre-SPMB in Tangerang City 2026 is conducted online through the official website https://praspmb.tangerangkota.go.id/. This system allows parents and prospective students to register without needing to visit schools or the Education Office. The Head of the Tangerang City Education Office, Wahyudi Iskandar, stated that registration will be open every day from 08:00 to 16:00 WIB. “Registration for Pre-SPMB for SD and SMP levels in Tangerang City 2026 is fully opened online,” he said on Friday (10/4/2026), quoted from the official Tangerang City Government website. The entire process is conducted online and can be accessed during the specified operational hours. The Tangerang City Government assesses that early data validation will accelerate the SPMB process and minimise technical issues later on. According to the Education Office, this system is also part of efforts to provide more transparent, accountable, and digital-based education services. Pre-SPMB 2026 is part of the digital transformation of education services in Tangerang City.
