Republika and blu by BCA Digital Launch Virtual Qurban Simulation on Roblox
Republika and blu by BCA Digital have launched a virtual Qurban simulation inside the Map Al-Qalam on the Roblox platform as part of Eid al-Adha celebrations. The creative initiative aims to educate younger generations about the essence and process of the Qurban rite through an interactive technology-driven approach. Republika Editor-in-Chief Andi Muhyiddin said the collaboration is a strategic step to embed Islamic values into the digital ecosystem closer to the daily lives of Millennials and Gen Z. ‘We want to present the Qurban rite not merely as an annual transaction, but as a spiritual process that involves sincerity, effort, and social care. Through the Map Al-Qalam on Roblox, young people can directly experience caring for the sacrificial animal from an early age in a fun yet educational context,’ he said. Interactive Guide and the Mission of Goodness In this game, players are invited to complete a mission titled bluQurban. The virtual experience is designed to reflect the real-world prep for Qurban that requires dedication. Here are the How to Play steps in the bluQurban programme:
Beginning the Journey: Players spawn right in front of the splendor of the Republika virtual Al-Qalam Mosque.
Choosing the Sacrificial Animal: Players are guided to a grassy area to select their best sacrificial goat.
The Care Process: The chosen animal is then moved to the pen area by typing the special command !lepas.
Feeding: Players must gather grass around the area using a sickle as a symbol of effort and hard work.
Caring for the Animal: Players feed the grass consistently until the sacrificial animal grows optimally and reaches the maximum level (Level 5 MAX).
Sacrificing: After reaching maximum size, the animal is taken to a Republika-branded Virtual Station to be offered symbolically.
Balance Check: Players can monitor mission success by checking coin earnings in the blu zone available within the map.
Minigames and a Variety of Attractive Prizes In addition to the Qurban simulation, the Map Al-Qalam is equipped with competitive activities such as the Al-Qalam Dash running event and the Al-Qalam Aqua Dash swimming event. The competitions use a five-lane system across five heats, with only the first-place competitor from each heat qualifying for the Grand Final.
