Reporting to Prabowo, Bahlil States Fuel and LPG Stocks Exceed National Minimum Standards
Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia stated that Indonesia’s stocks of fuel oil (BBM), up to LPG, are above the national minimum standards. He conveyed this after meeting President Prabowo Subianto at the Presidential Palace in Central Jakarta on Tuesday, 12 May 2026. “I just reported to the President regarding our preparedness for BBM up to today, as well as LPG and crude; all are above the national minimum standards. So, insyaallah, there are no problems,” Bahlil told reporters. On that occasion, Bahlil also directly reported to Prabowo regarding the arrangement of mining permits, particularly in forested areas and several mining business permits (IUP). He said that Prabowo has instructed that companies without IUP but not conducting activities should be immediately evaluated. “I also reported on the arrangement of mining permits, particularly in forested areas and several IUPs that have not been utilised as they should be,” he stated. “The President has instructed this about one month ago, two months ago I think, to conduct evaluations. And I reported the developments on that,” Bahlil concluded.
