The evacuation and repatriation process for the body of Head Soldier (Praka) Farizal Rhomadhon, an Indonesian National Army (TNI) soldier who fell during a United Nations peacekeeping mission in Lebanon, continues to proceed. Currently, the body has been successfully evacuated from the incident site and is in safe condition at the peacekeeping forces’ headquarters. Commander of Infantry Brigade (Danbrigif) 25/Siwah, Colonel Inf. Dimar Bahtera, explained that after evacuation from the attack point, the body was immediately taken to the East Sector Headquarters (HQ) to be laid in state and receive honours from fellow comrades. “(The body) is already at the headquarters, with condolences from all comrades in the same area,” said Colonel Inf. Dimar when met at the mourning house in Lendah, Kulon Progo, on Tuesday (31/3/2026). The body is then planned to be taken to a hospital in Beirut to undergo autopsy procedures. This stage is one of the parts that must be carried out before the repatriation process to Indonesia. “Evacuated to a hospital in Beirut, if I’m not mistaken. There, the standard autopsy will be conducted as the hospital is more complete,” he stated.
