Repairs Underway on Japek Toll Road at Km 28, Contraflow Implemented

JAKARTA - To maintain security, safety, and comfort for road users, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) is carrying out maintenance at Km 28+175 on lane A towards Cikampek, on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road section. The maintenance is being conducted following reports from on-site officers regarding the road surface condition that requires immediate attention. “After receiving the report on Tuesday, 5 May 2026 at 21.13 WIB, the JTT team immediately headed to the location and carried out initial handling by closing lanes 3 and 4 at 21.45 WIB to support the repair process and ensure the safety of road users,” stated Senior Manager Representative Office 1 of PT JTT, Amri Sanusi, on Wednesday (6/5/2026). With police discretion, traffic engineering in the form of contraflow from Km 23 to Km 28 towards Cikampek was implemented starting at 11.25 WIB. This step is taken to ease traffic congestion and maintain smooth vehicle flow. “As an effort to maintain traffic smoothness and support the handling process at the location, contraflow is implemented on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road section situationally with police discretion. JTT, together with relevant officers, continues to regulate traffic and monitor field conditions so that road users’ journeys remain safe and smooth,” said Ria. During the handling process, road users are urged to anticipate travel time, ensure vehicles are in prime condition, maintain safe distances, and comply with signs and officer directions, especially around the work location.
