Repairs Underway on Jagorawi Toll Road, Several Lanes Temporarily Closed

JAKARTA – Users of the Jakarta-Bogor-Ciawi (Jagorawi) toll road are advised to prepare for potential traffic congestion. This is because Jasa Marga is carrying out road repair works at several points.

Through the Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Regional Division (JMT), the works include reconstruction of the pavement as well as scrapping, filling, and overlay (SFO) to maintain minimum service standards (SPM).

The pavement reconstruction work is being carried out at several points towards Jakarta, including lane 2 from KM 18+881 to KM 18+801 on 20 April 2026 at 10:00 WIB until 24 April 2026 at 05:00 WIB.

Meanwhile, the SFO work is being carried out towards Ciawi at several points, from KM 18+536 to KM 21+000, with a phased schedule from 20 April to 27 April 2026, mostly carried out at night from 22:00 WIB to 04:00 WIB.

For the direction towards Jakarta, SFO work is also being carried out on lane 3 from KM 19+851 to KM 19+920 on 25 April to 26 April 2026.

Marketing and Communication Department Head of JMT, Panji Satriya, said that during the works, the lanes being repaired will be temporarily impassable.

“The lanes that are the object of the work will temporarily not be passable during the works, but other lanes can be used as traffic lanes,” said Panji in an official statement on Tuesday (21/4/2026).

With the closure of lanes at several points, road users are urged to anticipate potential congestion, especially during rush hours and while the works are ongoing.

In addition, drivers are advised to manage their travel time and ensure their electronic card balances are sufficient to avoid adding to queues at toll gates.
