Repairs Delayed: Lenteng Agung Main Road Partially Reopened

The Jakarta Provincial Transport Agency (Dishub) reopened the Lenteng Agung main road towards Depok on Tuesday (2/6/2026) at approximately 08:00 WIB. The reopening follows concreting works carried out on a section of the road that had subsided since Monday (1/6/2026) afternoon.

The Head of the Jakarta Provincial Transport Agency, Budi Awaluddin, stated that the reopening time missed the original 05:00 WIB target, as the schedule had to be adjusted based on the actual progress of the road repairs on the ground.

“We understand that this situation impacts the mobility of residents travelling through the Lenteng Agung area. Therefore, we apologise for the delay in reopening the road and urge the public to adjust their travel times and use the prepared alternative routes,” Budi said when confirmed on Tuesday morning.

According to him, the Lenteng Agung main road is currently partially open, specifically the lane on the side of the railway tracks. Meanwhile, the lane on the opposite side is targeted to be opened by 11:00 WIB.
