Repairs Begin on Damaged Road to Citayam Station in Depok
Observation by detikcom on Wednesday (6/5/2026) revealed repairs on Jalan Lori Sawah towards Stasiun Citayam. Several potholes that were previously present have now been filled. However, there are still several points that have not been repaired. Some potholes are seen to be waterlogged and muddy. Repairs are also being carried out at the intersection of Jalan Situ Citayam and Jalan Raya Cipayung, near the former temporary location of Pasar Citayam. Potholes at that point have been patched, making it easier for residents to pass through. In addition, rubbish piled up around the wall of the former Pasar Citayam has been removed. At the location, yellow tape and banners prohibiting littering have been installed. A resident, Tyas, said the repairs started yesterday. She hopes all potholes on the road to Stasiun Citayam can be patched soon. “It seems they started working yesterday afternoon. Because in the morning when going to the station there were still many potholes, but when passing by at night after work, some had already been patched. Hopefully everything will be repaired,” she said. Previously, based on detikcom’s observation on Wednesday (4/3), road damage began to occur on Jalan Situ Citayam. Potholes were visible at several points on this road. In addition, rubbish was seen piled up near the wall of the former temporary Pasar Citayam site. The smell of rubbish was detectable when passing by. Road damage was also visible on Jalan Lori Sawah towards Stasiun Citayam. Quite deep potholes were seen at several points. This condition forced motorcyclists to slow down. Congestion often occurs during peak morning and evening hours. The Depok City Public Works and Spatial Planning Department then stated it would check the damaged roads. “We will check first, there is a boundary between Depok and Bogor,” said Acting Head Yodi Joko when contacted by reporters on Thursday (5/3).
