Rental car owner murdered

BANDUNG, West Java: The decomposed body of Max Teterisa, a
resident of Cikembar, Sukabumi, West Java and the owner of a
rental car, was found in an unused well in Ciharashas, Bandung,
on Tuesday.

Antara reported that his clothing showed signs of being
burned. Police have sent the body for an autopsy at the Hasan
Sadikin hospital.

The agency reported that the 45-year-old victim was picked up
on Sunday by a friend named Iwan who told him that people in
Cirata wanted to rent a car.

Max's son Klen and a nephew accompanied him, but were ordered
out of the car by Iwan in Cirata. Several hours later, Iwan
returned with Max and a number of unidentified people. They beat
Klen, Max and the nephew and then threw Klen and the nephew out
of the speeding car. They kept Max and headed toward Bandung.
