Renewing Your Driving Licence? Check These Locations

Jakarta — The Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Directorate continues to operate mobile driving licence renewal service points at two locations in Jakarta to assist residents in extending the validity of their legal driving documents.

According to the official X (Twitter) account of the Metro Police Traffic Management Centre, the mobile service points are located at:

East Jakarta: Raden Inten Street, Kalimalang, next to McDonald’s Duren Sawit

West Jakarta: Panjang Street, next to Indomaret Kebon Jeruk

The mobile licence facilities operate from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Required documents include a photocopy of a valid identity card, a photocopy and original copy of the existing licence, proof of health examination, and proof of psychological testing.

The mobile service is available only for renewing Class A and Class C driving licences that remain valid. For licences that have expired, the licence holder must apply for a new licence at a location designated by the police.

According to Government Regulation No. 60 of 2016 concerning Non-Tax State Revenue, renewal fees are 80,000 rupiah for Class A licences and 75,000 rupiah for Class C licences.

Class B driving licences cannot be renewed through the mobile service and must be renewed at the Driving Licence Administration Service Unit office, as this licence class is designated for vehicles weighing more than 3.5 tonnes.
