JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO), a renewable energy company partially owned by PT United Tractors Tbk (UT), recorded a net profit of Rp 63.9 billion for the full year 2025. This figure represents a 52.9% year-on-year growth compared to the same period in the previous year. For the same period, the net profit margin improved to 18.6%, an increase of 111 basis points from the previous year. ARKO also booked business revenue of Rp 343.3 billion for 2025. This amount rose 43.7% year-on-year compared to the same period in the previous year. This was primarily influenced by the finalisation of the construction of the Kukusan 2 Project. ARKO President Director Aldo Artoko stated that the operation of the Kukusan 2 Project in February 2026 is expected to provide a positive contribution to the company’s cash flow starting this year, with PLN as the sole buyer of the electricity generated. “With more power plant projects being completed, we are optimistic about continuing to uphold our commitment to illuminating Indonesia through the utilisation of clean energy and conducting business sustainably,” Aldo said in an official statement on Wednesday (18/3/2026). From an operational perspective, ARKO recorded electricity production of 151.8 MWh in 2025, a 56.1% year-on-year growth compared to the same period in the previous year. This increase was supported by the start of operations at the Yaentu Project as well as higher rainfall compared to 2024. One of them is the Kukusan 2 Project with a capacity of 5.4 MW, located in Tanggamus, Lampung, which began commercial operations in February 2026.
