Removed from MSCI, ANTM: Company Focuses on Maintaining Business Fundamentals
Corporate Secretary of PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM), Wisnu Danandi Haryanto, is already aware that ANTM has been removed from the Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) global index. Moving forward, ANTM is focusing on maintaining its business fundamentals to keep its prospects bright. The company’s business fundamentals remain solid, supported by mineral downstreaming and the development of the national electric vehicle ecosystem by the government. ANTM is involved in the national strategic project for developing nickel-based electric vehicle batteries. At the same time, ANTM is strengthening the quality of communication with investors through improved information disclosure, enhanced engagement with global institutional investors, and active participation in various international investment forums. “ANTM will continue to focus on creating long-term value through strengthening business fundamentals, downstreaming, and implementing good corporate governance to international standards,” said Wisnu. MSCI has removed six Indonesian stocks from the MSCI Global Standard Indexes and 13 stocks from the MSCI Small Cap Indexes. This change in index composition will take effect after the market close on 29 May 2026 and become effective from 1 June 2026.
