Drug lord Erwin Iskandar, also known as Ko Erwin, has been arrested by police. Authorities are now pursuing the remnants of Ko Erwin’s network.

It is known that Ko Erwin was captured by the Indonesian National Police’s Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) in Tanjung Balai, North Sumatra, on Thursday, 26 February. Ko Erwin was apprehended on a vessel as he was about to flee to Malaysia.

People behind Ko Erwin are then targeted by police. Three individuals already on the police radar include Andre Fernando alias ‘The Doctor’ (32), A Hamid alias Boy, and Satriawan.

Andre The Doctor

Bareskrim has issued a wanted list (DPO) for Andre. The DPO was published in letter DPO/32/III/Dittipidnarkoba dated 1 March 2026.

The letter was signed by Head of Sub-Directorate IV of Dittipidnarkoba Bareskrim Polri, Kombes Handik Zusen, who leads the investigation. ‘Andre Fernando is to be monitored/arrested/handed over/informed of his whereabouts to investigators/ assisting investigators at the above police office, with number 081385277785,’ the DPO read, quoted on Monday (2/3/2026).

Andre Fernando is believed to reside in the Cempaka Baru area, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. The ‘The Doctor’ is described as 165 cm tall, weighing around 70 kg, with short black hair and olive-brown skin.

Andre Fernando has become a DPO in a narcotics case involving Ko Erwin. The Ko Erwin case also implicates former Bima City Police Chief AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro and former Head of the Narcotics Unit of Bima City Police AKP Malaungi.

Andre is described as a figure who supplied the meth bought by Ko Erwin for distribution in the Bima region, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). Ko Erwin is known to have conducted two transactions with Andre in January 2026.

The first transaction was Rp 400 million for 2 kg of meth. Then, a second transaction of Rp 400 million for meth weighing 3 kg.

Director of Narcotics at Bareskrim Polri, Brig. Gen. Eko Hadi Santoso, described Andre by the nickname ‘The Doctor’. He acted as a distributor bringing drugs into Indonesia via land routes and cargo.

‘The Ko Andre, or ’The Doctor’, provides drugs of various kinds including meth, vape cartridges containing etomidate, and ‘happy water’,’ Eko said in a statement.

Ko Andre, Eko added, has networks in the Riau region. He ships vape cartridges containing etomidate with brands Ferrari and Lamborghini by sea from Malaysia via Dumai, Riau.

‘Meanwhile for the (delivery of) narcotics such as meth, shipments are mostly via cargo packaging (then) placed inside a doll and wrapped in a gift box,’ he said.

Boy and Satriawan

Like Andre, Boy and Satriawan are also on the DPO list. They are now being hunted by police.

‘That the DPO in the name of A. Hamid alias Boy and the DPO in the name of Satriawan alias Awan are currently being sought and pursued jointly by officers of the Dittipidnarkoba Bareskrim Polri and Ditresnarkoba Polda NTB,’ said Eko Hadi.

A. Hamid alias Boy is said to have provided Rp 1.8 billion as a form of tribute money to Didik through Malaungi. The money was handed over at Uma Lengge (the traditional Bima house) located in the Bima City Police Headquarters area.

The description of A. Hamid alias Boy is about 171 cm tall, stout, black wavy hair, olive-brown skin, round eyes, oval face, thick eyebrows, and no distinctive markings.

Meanwhile, Satriawan fled during a search of Anita’s home on Saturday (24/1). His features are 160 cm tall, upper teeth missing one in front, pale height, short hair with some bald patches, normal eyes, and a large scar on his leg as a distinctive feature.

Malaungi and Didik have been named suspects. The examination revealed the involvement of a broker named Ko Erwin.

Ko Erwin is said to have given Didik Putra Kuncoro Rp 1 billion to facilitate his illicit business. After that, Ko Erwin gave 488 grams of meth to Malaungi to distribute on Sumbawa Island.

Not only from Ko Erwin, Didik is also said to have received money from a meth dealer named Boy amounting to Rp 1.8 billion. Boy is still at large and being hunted by police.
