A number of religious teachers in Mataram City have reportedly not received their Professional Teacher Allowance (TPG) since January 2026. Responding to this, the Mataram City Education Agency (Disdik) explained that the delay in disbursement was caused by administrative and data collection issues.

Head of the Mataram City Education Agency, Yusuf, revealed that the delay in TPG payments occurred because the data of these religious teachers had not yet been entered into the agency’s database, preventing the system from processing the payments.

‘Some religious teachers may have already been paid, but there are also some teachers who are not in the database,’ Yusuf said when confirmed on Friday (26/6/2026).

Yusuf assured that teachers who reported their data on time would still receive their entitlements. The TPG disbursement process involves coordination with the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag).

‘They receive the TPG, but the decree from the Ministry of Religious Affairs must be brought to the Education Agency. If they do not bring it, it will not be paid,’ he said.

According to Yusuf, religious teachers who have completed the administrative requirements and submitted documents to the Education Agency have had their disbursement processed. So far, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers are known to be receiving the allowance soon.

‘Only the Islamic religious education teachers have submitted their documents, and they have been proposed. The Christian religious teachers have not yet reported, but other religious teachers have reported. All religious education teachers in public schools must still be paid as long as they have reported,’ he continued.

Yusuf added that the amount of TPG received by teachers varies according to each educator’s rank. ‘What is paid is the 13th salary,’ he stated.

Yusuf expressed hope that religious education teachers in public schools would promptly complete the administrative requirements so that the technical data obstacles can be resolved and the allowance can be disbursed immediately.
