Religious Holiday Allowance Not Being Paid? Yogyakarta City Government Opens Complaint Centre and Prepares to Receive Worker Reports
The Yogyakarta City Government has opened a Task Force for Labour Relations Consultation Service Centre for the 2026 Religious Holiday Allowance (THR). The centre has been prepared to provide consultation services and receive complaints relating to THR payment for workers and companies within the Yogyakarta City area.
Gunawan Adhi Putra, Secretary of the Department of Social Affairs, Labour Relations, and Transmigration (Dinsosnakertrans) of Yogyakarta City, stated that the service has been operational since 5 March 2026 and will continue operating until shortly before Eid al-Fitr. “The centre will serve worker THR matters in Yogyakarta until 27 March,” he said on Monday (9 March 2026).
According to him, the existence of this centre is intended to ensure that THR payment implementation is conducted in accordance with applicable regulations. Additionally, it serves as a platform for workers and companies to seek consultation should they encounter difficulties in fulfilling these obligations.
“We are ready to provide consultation services regarding the 2026 Religious Holiday Allowance for both workers and companies in Yogyakarta City,” he said.
The consultation and complaint service can be accessed both online and offline. For online services, members of the public can contact the integrated WhatsApp service across the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) at 0821-3534-9997. Complaints can also be submitted via email to bidangkhi@gmail.com.
