Religious harmony promoted

KUPANG, East Nusa Tenggara: Manggarai regency's interfaith communication forum is experimenting with ways to promote harmony between people of different religions.

Religious leaders have agreed that Moslems here will help safeguard sessions held at churches while Christians will help safeguard gatherings held by their Moslem brothers.

Manggarai government officials said that the experiment has been successful in several villages in the regency. (yac)
