During the month of Ramadhan, the Indonesia educational television station (TPI) and Indosiar are airing special programs to welcome the sacred month of Ramadhan.

TPI broadcasts Mozaik Ramadhan, from 3.30 a.m. to 5.30 a.m. This program is very useful for Moslems who are having Sahur (the pre-dawn meal) and at the same time listening to religious dialogs. But the program is tarnished because the organizer introduces a quiz in it. The host asks a question that has a prize of Rp 200,000 to Rp 300,000 for the winner.

TPI has been so naive in carrying out this program, a commercialization of Islam. No compensation is needed for a Moslem to know Islamic teachings.

I hope TPI and Indosiar stop the quiz program.
