Regulatory Synchronisation Strengthens Investment Climate
JAKARTA - The Minister of Law, Supratman Andi Agtas, has emphasised the government’s commitment to creating a conducive investment climate through the harmonisation and synchronisation of regulations at both central and regional levels. He conveyed this during the halalbihalal event of PT Donggi Senoro LNG (DSLNG) with the government and stakeholders in Jakarta on Tuesday (22/4/2026). “The government is very open to investment. As the ministry responsible for law, our task is to ensure that existing regulations are aligned and support the smooth flow of investment, both at the central and regional levels,” stated Minister Supratman. He added that collaboration between the government and business actors is a key factor in driving national economic growth. In this context, the halalbihalal event organised by DSLNG is seen as a strategic moment to strengthen synergy between the central government, regional government, and investors. Supratman commended DSLNG’s contributions to the development of the oil and gas sector in Central Sulawesi. As a native of the region, he views the investments made by DSLNG as tangible proof of the success of collaboration between domestic and foreign investments. DSLNG has contributed to the development of the upstream oil and gas sector in Central Sulawesi. “This is a tangible form of investment collaboration that has a positive impact on the region. We are very grateful that Mitsubishi Corporation and Korea Gas Corporation continue to collaborate with Pertamina and Medco. This is also a moment for collaboration between the central government, regional government, and investors,” he explained. DSLNG President Director Yuichi Sakaguchi welcomed the invited guests and emphasised the importance of maintaining harmonious relations with all stakeholders. The event is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen relationships and enhance collaboration between the government and industry players in supporting development in the energy sector.
