JAKARTA — Regulatory compliance forms the cornerstone of Bank Jakarta’s operations as part of strengthening corporate governance. This is deemed vital for maintaining public trust and strengthening the bank’s position in the banking industry.

Bank Jakarta’s Compliance Director Ateng Rivai stated that good corporate governance practices aim to enhance value for stakeholders, including customers, business partners, and regulators. He added that adherence to banking regulations is a crucial part of the bank’s efforts to sustainably improve corporate governance standards.

Meanwhile, Bank DKI Corporate Secretary Arie Rinaldi noted that consistent application of good corporate governance (GCG) is believed to maintain healthy company performance and boost stakeholder confidence. ‘By consistently implementing GCG, we are confident in maintaining healthy company performance, enhancing stakeholder trust, and solidifying Bank Jakarta’s position as a professional and highly competitive banking institution,’ Rinaldi said.

These aspects are part of the methodology for the Indonesia Regulatory Compliance Awards (IRCA), which uses a structured self-assessment approach for participating companies. At the event, Bank Jakarta received the Gold Regulatory Compliance award in the 2026 Indonesia Regulatory Compliance Awards, organised by Hukum Online in Jakarta on Thursday, 22 May 2026. The award is presented to companies that demonstrate regulatory compliance as a core value in strategic decision-making.
