Head of the Government Communication Agency Muhammad Qodari stated that the government intends to make the 81st Independence Day commemoration a celebration that is closer to the people through a series of participatory and inclusive activities. ‘We want to ensure that the fruits of development are not only enjoyed by a few, but can be felt tangibly, more widely, and equitably by all people across the archipelago. The government strongly desires that this year’s independence commemoration feels different and closer to the hearts of the people,’ Qodari said.
