Registration Opens 22 February for DKI Jakarta Provincial Government's Free Lebaran 2026 Mudik Programme

The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, through the DKI Jakarta Transport Agency, is once again organising a free mudik programme for the Lebaran 2026 holiday travel period. Registration for the programme opens on 22 February.

The free mudik programme covers 20 destination cities and regencies by bus. Additionally, prospective travellers may also register their motorcycles to be transported by truck to six mudik destinations.

To participate in the programme, prospective participants can register online via a link that will be active from 22 February 2026.

Registration Schedule:

• Cluster 1: Solo, Tasikmalaya, Palembang, Madiun, Sragen, Cilacap — Registration: 22–24 February 2026
• Cluster 2: Yogyakarta, Kuningan, Lampung, Tegal, Kebumen, Jombang, Pekalongan — Registration: 25–27 February 2026
• Cluster 3: Wonogiri, Kediri, Malang, Wonosobo, Purwokerto, Semarang, Sidoarjo — Registration: 28 February–2 March 2026

Required Documents, Terms and Conditions

Required registration documents: - DKI Jakarta identity card (KTP) — priority given to holders - Family card (Kartu Keluarga) - Vehicle registration certificate (STNK) — if bringing a motorcycle

Terms and conditions: - Required administrative documents include a family card, DKI Jakarta KTP (priority given), and STNK (if bringing a motorcycle). Each registrant may add up to three family members listed on the same family card. - The national identity number (NIK) submitted during online registration must match the original KTP. - After successful registration, applicants must complete verification by bringing photocopies of the required documents to the nearest verification location. - If duplicate registration in another mudik programme is detected, the registration will be automatically cancelled and the decision is final. - Tickets may not be sold or transferred to another person.

Note: Failure to attend during the designated verification period will be treated as a withdrawal, and the quota will be allocated to other applicants.
