Registration for Maung Schools to Commence Next Monday, System Ready for Public Access
The West Java Provincial Government has prepared a robust system to ensure the smooth implementation of the 2026 Student Admission System (SPMB) for SMA and SMK schools. Registration for the 2026 West Java SPMB will commence on Monday (25/05/2026), specifically for prospective students of the Manusia Unggul (Maung) schools.
The Head of the West Java Communications and Informatics Department, Adi Komar, stated that a series of system preparation procedures have been completed for the 2026 SPMB implementation. Following rigorous testing, it has been concluded that the 2026 SPMB system is ready for public access.
“We have prepared a resilient system so that the public does not need to worry during the SPMB registration process,” said Adi on Saturday (23/05/2026).
Registration for Maung Schools will be conducted online via the Sekolah Maung application at https://maung.spmb.jabarprov.go.id. Applicants must log in to the application using their existing accounts.
The next steps involve selecting the target school and entering the required data into the application. Applicants must then upload scanned copies of general and specific requirement documents, such as birth certificates, family cards, parents’ national identity cards (KTP), report cards, diplomas, certificates of completion of final examinations, academic competency test results from the previous school, and recommendation letters from the previous school.
Additionally, applicants must upload a Statement of Absolute Responsibility (SPTJM) from parents, as well as a statement of commitment to follow the SPMB stages and support the Maung schools. For applicants applying through the academic potential track, results from an Academic Potential Test (TPA) conducted by a psychologist must also be uploaded.
After uploading all documents, applicants must remember to print their registration proof and click the ‘submit’ button. It is also essential to monitor the system for any verification results that require follow-up.
Registration for Maung SMA and SMK schools will run until Friday (29/05/2026). The announcement of students accepted into Maung schools will be made on Monday (08/06/2026), followed by the re-registration process on Tuesday and Wednesday (09-10/06/2026).
