Registration for Candidates for RRI Supervisory Board Opens Until 5 May 2026

The Ministry of Communication and Digital is opening the registration for selection participants for candidates for members of the Supervisory Board of the Public Broadcasting Institution Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) for the 2026–2031 term from 22 April to 5 May 2026. “We invite all elements of society to participate in this process to produce Supervisory Board figures who are competent, have integrity, and have a strong commitment to advancing LPP RRI,” said the Head of the Selection Committee, Edwin Hidayat Abdullah, in a ministry press release quoted on Thursday. Edwin stated that the formation of the Supervisory Board is part of efforts to improve RRI’s governance to be more professional, independent, and oriented towards public interests. “The Supervisory Board has a strategic role in ensuring policy direction, performance oversight, as well as maintaining the integrity and independence of LPP RRI as a public media,” he said. He explained that the entire selection process for candidates for members of the Supervisory Board of the Public Broadcasting Institution RRI for 2026–2031 will be carried out openly, transparently, and accountably. Citizens who wish to participate in the selection process can check information about requirements, registration mechanisms, and selection stages on the official website of the Ministry of Communication and Digital. To ensure public information openness, all selection stages will be announced through the ministry’s official information channels.
