Register Now! MagangHub Phase II Officially Open: Here are the Stages and Procedures

Registration for the 2026 National Internship Program (MagangHub) Phase II is officially open from 3 to 8 September 2026.

“We have prepared this programme so that internship opportunities can be widely accessed by job seekers, while simultaneously providing work experience that is relevant to the needs of the business world, industry, and government agencies,” stated the Minister of Manpower, Yassierli, in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday.

Following the registration phase, participant selection will take place from 9 to 15 September 2026, with the selection results to be announced on 18 September 2026. Furthermore, selected participants are scheduled to begin the internship programme on 21 September 2026.

Minister Yassierli added that the 2026 National Internship Phase II is part of the target to reach 150,000 participants this year, with a quota of 50,000 participants per cohort.

According to him, the implementation of MagangHub is not only oriented towards the number of participants but also towards the quality of the internship process to ensure participants gain relevant work experience. Therefore, he continued, the Ministry of Manpower ensures that all stages of the programme are conducted transparently, orderly, and in accordance with applicable regulations.

“We want the entire process to run openly and be accountable. Every stage must be carried out with administrative care to ensure the programme’s implementation runs smoothly and provides benefits to the participants,” he said.

He added that the completeness of technical provisions is a vital part of ensuring the National Internship programme meets its objectives. These provisions serve as a reference for both organisers and participants throughout the programme.

Additionally, supervision will be conducted to ensure the entire internship process runs orderly and provides optimal benefits for participants.

“Supervision will be strictly enforced. We want to ensure that the MagangHub programme truly provides benefits to participants, while also operating accountably and in accordance with applicable regulations,” said Yassierli.

The Minister of Manpower also expressed hope that programme participants could utilise this opportunity to gain work experience, enhance their skills, and understand the professional environment directly as preparation for entering the workforce.
