Strengthening regional healthcare ecosystems has become increasingly important as public demand for access to quality health products grows. Cross-border collaboration between health distribution companies and global pharmaceutical industries is seen as a strategic move to expand healthcare access, especially in developing nations.

PT Medela Potenti Tbk, through its subsidiary Dynamic Argon, has entered a strategic partnership with Japan’s Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical. The collaboration was marked by the official launch of Salonpas Pain Relief Patch and Salonsip Gel Patch in Cambodia.

The launch event, held at the Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh on 16 May 2026, was attended by representatives from the Cambodian government, healthcare professionals, business partners, and executives from both countries. Cambodian Ministry of Health representatives highlighted rising public awareness of health issues and the importance of safe, user-friendly self-care solutions with high-quality standards.

Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical’s Head of International Division, Hiramatsu Taro, said the product launch reflects the company’s commitment to bringing Japanese pharmaceutical technology-driven innovations to market. “With advanced formulation and transdermal drug delivery technology, these products provide effective pain relief while minimising the common side effects associated with oral pain medication,” he said.

The collaboration is also seen as a crucial step for Dynamic Argon to strengthen its role as a health service Distribution partner in Cambodia. Dynamic Argon’s General Manager, Ivan Setiadi, stated Cambodian citizens need access to internationally standard health products that have been proven safe and effective. “Our partnership with Hisamitsu aligns with Dynamic Argon’s long-term commitment to supporting the health and well-being of Cambodian society. This collaboration is about more than business growth; it’s about expanding access to quality health products,” he said.

Meanwhile, Dynamic Argon’s Director Budi Lim said the partnership demonstrates growing confidence from global health companies in Cambodia’s healthcare sector Distribution system. “Through strong regional and local partnerships, we believe Cambodia has significant potential to expand access to high-quality health products,” he added.

PT Medela Potenti TbK’s President Director Juliwatty emphasised the company’s commitment to improving healthcare access through strategic partnerships and Distribution networks. “With over four decades of experience in healthcare, PT Medela Potenti TbK, through its joint venture ecosystem including Dynamic Argon, remains committed to strengthening healthcare access and bringing trusted global healthcare innovations closer to Cambodian communities,” she said.

The collaboration, effective from 1 May 2026, focuses on nationwide Distribution of Salonpas Pain Relief Patch and Salonsip Gel Patch via Dynamic Argon’s Distribution network, which includes pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, distributors, modern markets, and regional areas across Cambodia.
