Regent Opens Socialisation of Risk-Based Business Licensing Supervision
In Kasongan, the Regent of Katingan, Saiful, stated in his speech that to fulfil Government Regulation on Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM RI No. 5 of 2025 regarding guidelines and procedures for organising risk-based business licensing and investment facilities (PM) through the integrated electronic online single submission system in accordance with Article 285 paragraph (1), business actors are required to submit the Realisation Report on Capital Investment (LRPM) and investment obligations for every business activity and location.
In connection with this, according to Saiful, it is necessary for us to understand together that easy licensing must be accompanied by effective supervision. “Therefore, today’s socialisation is not to limit business movements, but to ensure legal compliance, legal certainty, and security,” he said.
Furthermore, through this socialisation activity, he hopes there will be no more doubts or communication barriers between the local government and business actors.
In essence, the Katingan Regency Government, through the local Investment Service and PTSP, according to him, wants to be a facilitating partner, not to complicate things. Thus, he urged the socialisation participants to earnestly utilise this forum. “Both by actively engaging in dialogue and asking about every technical detail, so that participants are truly valid and ready to face field verification whenever needed,” hoped the number one person in the regency nicknamed the Land of Penyang Hinje Simpei.
Also present at the opening of this socialisation event were, besides the Secretary of Katingan, Christian Rain, and Assistant II of the Regional Secretariat, Adventus, dozens of representatives from various companies operating in Katingan Regency, several heads of Regional Device Organisations (OPD) within the Katingan Regency Government (Pemkab), resource persons from Directorate Region II of the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming and Head of BKPM RI, as well as several other invitees.
