Regent opens 13 projects

JAKARTA (JP): Tangerang Regent H.Saifullah AR inaugurated on
Thursday 13 projects worth over Rp 2.7 trillion funded by the
city administration and donations from the public.

Of the 13 projects, only four were wholly funded by the city
administration. They are a bus terminal and a market at Pasar
Kemis subdistrict and a terminal and a market at the Legok
subdistrict.

The remaining projects were all financed by the public,
including several private companies, Antara reported.

The public-funded projects are office buildings for village
chiefs in four subdistricts in Tangerang.

In his speech marking the official opening of the facilities
Saifullah called on all his subordinates to do their best in
providing better services to the public. (bas)
