Regent of Karawang Inaugurates Elected Village Heads from Digital Village Elections

Karawang — Regent Aep Syaepuloh of Karawang has inaugurated nine village heads elected through the Simultaneous Village Head Election (Pilkades) using an electronic or digital system across Karawang Regency, West Java.

“I entrust the village to you. Remember, the oath you have taken is not merely words, but must be proven through real work for the people,” said the regent during the inauguration ceremony in Karawang on Monday.

The inauguration of nine village heads follows the results of the Third Wave Simultaneous Pilkades, which was held on 28 December 2025.

The regent congratulated the newly inaugurated village heads and expressed hope that they would demonstrate concrete work for the benefit of the people.

The nine inaugurated village heads are:

• Aman Maryamah, Village Head of Wanakerta, West Telukjambe District

• Jumadi, Village Head of Sarimulya, Kotabaru District

• Casmita, Village Head of Jatisari, Jatisari District

• Nurki, Village Head of Cadaskertajaya, Telagasari District

• Edi Suparjono, Village Head of South Cikampek, Cikampek District

• Wadma, Village Head of Balongsari, Rawamerta District

• Amas Subhan, Village Head of Payungsari, Pedes District

• Umar, Village Head of North Cikampek, Kotabaru District

• Helen Aini Syifa, Village Head of Tanjungmekar, Pakisjaya District

The regent also expressed appreciation for the residents of Karawang across the nine villages for their cooperation in conducting the digital village head elections safely and smoothly.

“With today’s inauguration, it is hoped that the nine village heads can immediately implement innovative and transparent work programmes to realise an advanced Karawang,” the regent stated.
