Regent Iron Rotates Several Officials in East Lombok Regency

Regent Haerul Warisin rotated several officials within the East Lombok Regency Government on Wednesday (10/6/2026). Several new officials were inaugurated, namely Zaedar Rahman, Hasni, Widayat, Muksin, and Dewanto Hadi. Zaedar Rahman was appointed as Head of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD), Hasni as Head of the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda), Widayat as Head of the Fire and Rescue Service (Damkar), Muksin as Head of the Women’s Empowerment, Child Protection, and Family Planning Agency (DP3AKB), and Dewanto Hadi as Head of the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of East Lombok. The regent, popularly known as Iron, stated this official rotation is only the beginning. The Gerindra Party politician asked other officials to prepare to be rotated. ‘This is a preliminary step; in a few weeks there will be another rotation. So those who haven’t been rotated yet, be prepared. All the echelon two officials I rotated today are good people,’ said Iron in his speech after the inauguration. Iron asserted the rotation of officials is not for political reasons. He reminded the inaugurated officials not to be lazy after assuming their new positions. ‘Never think that the transfer is political, that does not exist. Do not feel that after being transferred here you will then lack enthusiasm for work,’ said Iron. Iron also advised officials in the East Lombok Regency Government to continue working well. This will serve as an evaluation and consideration for occupying new positions. ‘This will certainly be an evaluation. That is why I urge everyone to work well for East Lombok,’ Iron advised. Several department head positions within the East Lombok Regency Government are also currently vacant. Iron revealed that the filling of these positions is still in the proposal stage and will be filled in the coming months. The filling process is conducted using a job fit system by the selection committee. ‘Next month, God willing, it will begin. The process is already underway now,’ said Iron.
