Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Regency Government, through the Thousand Islands Investment Management and One-Stop Integrated Service Unit (UPPMPTSP), is bringing licensing services closer to island communities through the Peduli Pulau Plus-Plus mobile integrated service programme in Kelapa Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands District.

“This activity brings various public services directly through an outreach system to make it easier for people to access government services,” said the Head of the Thousand Islands UPPMPTSP, Wachid Wahyudi, in Jakarta on Thursday.

He said the Peduli Pulau Plus-Plus activity is a cross-agency collaboration to improve the quality of public services for local island residents.

The office involved a number of agencies, including Bank Jakarta, relevant Regional Work Units (SKPD/UKPD), the Thousand Islands Police, the North Jakarta Land Agency, the Tanjung Priok Immigration Office, the North Jakarta Religious Court, the BPJS Employment office in Jakarta Kelapa Gading, and others.

Wachid said the Peduli Pulau Plus-Plus mobile integrated service was held for residents of Kelapa Island on Wednesday (8 July).

“The Thousand Islands UPPMPTSP collaborated with various agencies to carry out outreach services to the community,” said Wachid.

The office also handed over two halal certificates to micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) that had been assisted by the Halal Product Assurance Organising Body (BPJPH).

“The community can also take advantage of free consultation services and technical drawing design services provided by the UPPMPTSP,” said Wachid.

He emphasised that the Thousand Islands UPPMPTSP, together with ministries, institutions, Regional Apparatus Organisations (OPD), and regionally owned enterprises, is committed to providing fast, easy, and quality public services for all residents of the Thousand Islands.

“We are committed to continually delivering the best public services for the people of the Thousand Islands through collaboration with various parties,” said Wachid.
