REGARDING THE OWNERSHIP OF SHARES IN PT SURYA CITRA TELEVISI

The Law Office "Lontoh Kailimang", acting for and on behalf of
"PT Surya Citra Media Tbk", domiciled in Jakarta, hereby object
to the "Announcement to Confiscate Security", published by
Wiranto & Co Attorneys at Law who act for and on behalf of PT
Citra Gemilang Sejahtera, dated November 4, 5 and 6, 2002 in
certain newspapers in Jakarta. The objection is as follows:

The content of the Announcement to Confiscate Security,
specifically number 2.1 point 6 which states: that there has been
confiscated securities in properties owned by PT Datakom Asia
(the 1st Defendant) consisting of "shares owned by PT Datakom
Asia in PT Surya Citra Televisi with amount of 42.750.000 (forty
two million seven hundred and fifty thousand) shares" is not
correct and very misleading to the public, because:

1. PT Datakom Asia was formerly the owner/holder of 61.750.000
(sixty one million seven hundred and fifty thousand) shares in PT
Surya Citra Televisi, not for the amount of 42.750.000 shares,
but on April 18, 2002, PT Datakom Asia sold all their 61.750.000
shares to PT Surya Citra Media Tbk. The portion of the purchase
price of the shares was paid through JP Morgan Chase Bank
(formerly known as Chase Manhattan Bank) Jakarta branch to the
Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (IBRA-"BPPN") in respect of
the interest of PT Bank Central Asia as taken over bank and on
April 30, 2002, PT Surya Citra Media Tbk had received the
original of 61.750.000 shares certificates referred to above from
JP Morgan Chase Bank (formerly known as Chase Manhattan Bank)
Jakarta branch as the Collateral Agent, and since the selling
date of shares referred to above, PT Datakom Asia ceased to be
the owner/holder of shares in PT Surya Citra Televisi.

2. All the transactions of sale and purchase of 61.750.000 shares
on April 18, 2002 between PT Datakom Asia and PT Surya Citra
Media Tbk were conducted through JP Morgan Chase Bank (formerly
known as Chase Manhattan Bank) Jakarta branch as the Collateral
Agent for the interest of Bank of New York and PT Bank Central
Asia as the creditors.

In relation to the sale of shares mentioned above, PT Datakom
Asia had made Statement Letter dated April 30,2002, that clearly
stated PT Datakom Asia or any of its affiliations, directly or
indirectly, not as the owner of the shares in PT Surya Citra
Televisi.

This objection is made for public information and in order to
protect the interest and legal rights of PT Surya Citra Media Tbk
and also to avoid any legal claims as the consequences of the
Announcement to Confiscate Security dated November 4, 5 and 6,
2002.
