JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT Antam Tbk (ANTM) urges the public to be wary of jastip (proxy purchase) practices in buying precious metal products. The company firmly states that it does not recommend or support transactions through unofficial intermediaries, as these could pose various risks to consumers. Antam’s Corporate Secretary, Wisnu Danandi, explained that purchasing gold via jastip can lead to unreasonable prices, uncertainty about product authenticity, and no official transaction guarantees from the company. “Antam firmly does not recommend and does not support the purchase of precious metal products through jastip,” he said in an official statement on Thursday (23/4/2026). Currently, Antam offers various easy-to-access transaction options for the public. For instance, online purchases via the official site logammulia.com, with choices of home delivery or pickup at Antam Gold Boutiques. Antam also provides services through its official Logam Mulia app, Brankas, which allows digital physical gold transactions from buying, selling, to physical printing. On the other hand, Antam products are available on various official marketplaces such as Shopee, Tokopedia, Blibli, Lazada, Livin’ Sukha, and TikTok Shop. “Through these various channels, the public can still conduct safe, convenient, and official transactions without relying on third parties,” Wisnu said. He added that the company is continuously regulating distribution and implementing measured purchase limits to ensure fair access for all consumers. Wisnu once again reminded the public not to use jastip services or unofficial intermediaries in buying Antam gold. “And always ensure transactions are conducted through official channels to avoid potential risks that could be detrimental,” he concluded.
