Redmi Note 17 series set to launch in Indonesia on 16 September 2026
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Xiaomi has confirmed that it will bring the Redmi Note 17 series to the Indonesian market on 16 September 2026.
Xiaomi Indonesia’s Marketing Director, Andi Renreng, stated that through the Redmi Note 17 series, the company aims to maintain its image that Redmi phones are not only affordable but also support long-term performance.
“Through the Redmi Note 17 Series, we want to continue that trust with ‘Redmi Titan Quality’, ensuring users have a versatile smartphone ready to accompany them in doing more,” said Andi in a statement received in Jakarta on Thursday (10/9).
A major highlight of this latest line launch is the presence of the highest variant, the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max, which will, for the first time, be equipped with a massive 10,000 mAh battery capacity.
This capacity sets a new record as the largest battery ever introduced on a Xiaomi device in Indonesia.
In addition to battery life, Xiaomi also promises that these phones will feature drop-resistance durability, with the entire Redmi Note 17 line having secured global-standard durability certification from the independent testing agency TÜV SÜD.
Full specifications, including pricing for the Redmi Note 17 series in Indonesia, will be revealed in greater detail during the launch.
