Redmi K100 Reportedly to Debut in September 2026
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Redmi K100 series is rumoured to launch in the third quarter of this year, or around July to September 2026, earlier than previously anticipated.
As reported by Gizmochina on Friday (15/5) local time, the news was revealed by technology leaker Digital Chat Station, who stated that the Redmi K100 series may be introduced earlier than the previous launch pattern.
In recent years, the owner of the Redmi sub-brand, Xiaomi, has usually released its flagship Xiaomi-branded smartphone series first in September, followed by the Redmi flagship series in October.
Previous reports revealed that the Redmi K100 Pro Max will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset, which Qualcomm is likely to release next September. Therefore, the Redmi K100 series is predicted to launch in the same month.
If both lines are released simultaneously, Xiaomi could face internal sales competition between products. Therefore, it is still unknown whether Xiaomi will shift the launch schedule for the Xiaomi 18 series to October.
Based on circulating rumours, the Redmi K100 series is likely to consist of the Redmi K100 and Redmi K100 Pro Max models. The Redmi K100 is said to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, while the Pro Max model will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6.
In addition to the two models, several rumours also state that Redmi is preparing another model in the K100 series, although the details have not yet been revealed.
Digital Chat Station also hinted that Redmi will introduce other new products in the fourth quarter of this year. Although not specified, the device is expected to be from the Redmi Turbo 6 series.
