RedMagic, the gaming sub-brand of Nubia, has officially launched its two newest gaming smartphones, the RedMagic 11S Pro and RedMagic 11S Pro Plus, in China on Monday, 18 May 2026. The pair serve as a complement to the previous RedMagic 11 series and bring key upgrades in chipset, cooling, and battery. The RedMagic 11S Pro series is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version, an overclocked variant of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The chip uses the main CPU core clocked up to 4.74 GHz, similar to the ‘for Galaxy’ version used in the Samsung Galaxy S26 series. In addition to the new chipset, the RedMagic 11S Pro now features a silicon-carbon (Si-C) battery with a larger capacity of 8,000 mAh. This capacity is an increase over the previous generation’s 7,500 mAh, but still supports 80 W fast charging. Another upgrade comes in cooling, with the RedMagic 11S Pro Plus equipped with a dual-cooling system that combines a 24,000 RPM physical fan. The smartphone also includes a liquid cooling system to keep temperatures stable even during heavy gaming. Both the RedMagic 11S Pro and 11S Pro Plus feature a 6.85-inch BOE X10 AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness up to 2,000 nits. In the upper middle of the screen sits a beneath-display 16P selfie camera, together with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. For the internals, the RedMagic 11S Pro comes with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. Meanwhile, the RedMagic 11S Pro Plus offers options up to 16 GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 1 TB UFS 4.1 storage. In addition to fast charging, both phones support bypass charging, which allows power to flow directly to the system without charging the battery first.
