Red shallots at Rp46,900/kg, bird's eye chillies at Rp83,850/kg on Monday morning
Jakarta - Indonesia’s Strategic Food Price Information Centre (PIHPS) National, managed by Bank Indonesia, recorded food commodity prices as of Monday at 10:00 WIB, with red shallots at Rp46,900 per kilogramme (kg) and red bird’s eye chillies at Rp83,850 per kg.
Based on PIHPS data released in Jakarta, at national retail trader level, garlic was priced at Rp41,700 per kg.
Lower quality rice grade I was priced at Rp14,600 per kg, whilst lower quality rice grade II was Rp14,800 per kg. Medium quality rice grade I was Rp15,580 per kg, and medium quality rice grade II was Rp15,800 per kg.
Premium quality rice grade I was priced at Rp17,000 per kg, and premium quality rice grade II was Rp16,600 per kg.
PIHPS recorded large red chillies at Rp43,400 per kg, curly red chillies at Rp48,150 per kg, and green bird’s eye chillies at Rp53,400 per kg.
Broiler chicken meat was priced at Rp41,700 per kg, beef grade I at Rp141,100 per kg, and beef grade II at Rp133,900 per kg.
Premium granulated sugar was recorded at Rp19,650 per kg, whilst locally produced granulated sugar was Rp18,700 per kg.
Bulk cooking oil was priced at Rp19,650 per litre, branded packaged cooking oil grade I at Rp23,100 per litre, and branded packaged cooking oil grade II at Rp22,200 per litre.
PIHPS also recorded broiler chicken eggs at Rp33,400 per kg.
