Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara (ANTARA) – The National Strategic Food Price Information Centre (PIHPS), managed by Bank Indonesia, recorded red shallot prices at IDR 44,750 per kilogram (kg) and red bird’s eye chilli at IDR 75,550 per kg as of Friday at 09:50 Western Indonesia Standard Time.

Based on data from PIHPS accessed in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), in addition to red bird’s eye chilli, other national retail trader-level food prices recorded were garlic at IDR 40,750 per kg.

Grade I low-quality rice was priced at IDR 14,450 per kg, with Grade II low-quality rice at IDR 14,500 per kg. Grade I medium-quality rice cost IDR 15,950 per kg, whilst Grade II medium-quality rice was IDR 15,800 per kg.

Grade I premium rice was priced at IDR 17,150 per kg, and Grade II premium rice at IDR 16,700 per kg.

PIHPS further recorded large red chilli prices at IDR 44,700 per kg, curly red chilli at IDR 46,550 per kg, and green bird’s eye chilli at IDR 54,250 per kg.

Broiler chicken meat was priced at IDR 42,000 per kg, Grade I beef at IDR 143,900 per kg, and Grade II beef at IDR 135,950 per kg.

Other commodity prices recorded included premium refined sugar at IDR 19,800 per kg and local refined sugar at IDR 18,450 per kg.

Bulk cooking oil was priced at IDR 19,000 per litre, whilst branded packaged cooking oil variant I cost IDR 22,700 per litre and variant II at IDR 21,650 per litre.

PIHPS also recorded prices for broiler chicken eggs at IDR 32,550 per kg.
