Red Shallot and Red Chilli Prices Fall, Check the List
Bank Indonesia (BI) through the National Strategic Food Price Information Centre (PIHPS) has reported that red shallot prices stood at IDR 43,400 per kilogram (kg), down IDR 1,750, whilst red chilli prices were IDR 73,900 per kg, down IDR 10,900.
Beyond red chillies, other food commodity prices recorded at the national retail trader level include garlic at IDR 40,750 per kg.
Rice prices by grade are as follows: grade II lower quality rice at IDR 14,450 per kg, grade II lower quality at IDR 14,500 per kg. Medium grade I rice costs IDR 15,950 per kg, and medium grade II at IDR 15,800 per kg. Superior grade I rice is priced at IDR 17,150 per kg, and superior grade II at IDR 16,700 per kg.
PIHPS also recorded prices for large red chillies at IDR 44,700 per kg, curly red chillies at IDR 46,550 per kg, and green chillies at IDR 54,250 per kg.
Poultry and meat prices recorded include broiler chicken at IDR 42,000 per kg, grade I beef at IDR 143,900 per kg, and grade II beef at IDR 135,950 per kg.
Sugar commodity prices are listed as premium white sugar at IDR 19,800 per kg and local white sugar at IDR 18,450 per kg.
Cooking oil prices are recorded as bulk cooking oil at IDR 19,000 per litre, branded packaged cooking oil grade I at IDR 22,700 per litre, and branded packaged cooking oil grade II at IDR 21,650 per litre.
PIHPS also noted broiler chicken egg prices at IDR 32,550 per kg.
