I was annoyed by the way some youths at Pulogadung bus
terminal forced people entering the terminal to donate to the Red
Cross. It is not the amount of money that matters but their
unethical attitude that causes concern.

Surprisingly, local transport supervisors were there
witnessing the act of those young people, yet did nothing about
it.

The same practice is also found at Kampung Rambutan bus
terminal and many other major terminals.

My question is: Did the Red Cross instruct the young people to
be forceful in their endeavor to get donations? If not, measures
should be taken to stop such harsh actions in order to maintain
the good image of the Red Cross. The Red Cross fund raising month
should not be manipulated by irresponsible people.

I remember certain people some years ago collecting donations
with fake Red Cross receipts, a harmful act to the society.
