Red and White Precision Bridge Inaugurated; Riau Police Chief Appreciates Forkopimda Collaboration
Riau Police Chief Irjen Pol Herry Heryawan expressed appreciation to the Forkopimda leadership for the realisation of the Red and White Precision Bridge in Gobah Village, Kecamatan Tambang, Kampar District. Irjen Herry Heryawan stated that the bridge inauguration represents tangible collaboration that has successfully created vital infrastructure for communities along the Kampar River.
In his address, Irjen Pol Herry Heryawan noted that the Red and White Precision Bridge was realised through budget support from the 1011 Putra Peduli Foundation, as well as corporate social responsibility programmes from several companies operating in Riau Province.
“Thank you for the collaboration, synergy, and exceptional commitment in supporting the construction of the Red and White Precision Bridge, so that this work of service can be realised as a symbol of unity, connectivity, and hope for the people of Riau,” said Irjen Herry Heryawan at the site on Tuesday (17 March 2026).
The bridge was officially inaugurated by National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and was attended by Minister of Forestry Raja Juli Antoni, Chair of Commission IV of the House of Representatives Titiek Soeharto, Deputy Chief of Riau Police Brigjen Hengki Haryadi, Kampar Police Chief AKBP Boby Ramadan Putra Sebayang, as well as local traditional leaders and residents.
The Police Chief conveyed that the bridge construction demonstrates mutual cooperation and the spirit of ancestors, which is hoped to continue thriving in this modern era.
“Let us preserve this bridge as a value of mutual cooperation, a value of unity, a value of service, a value of courage to reach the distant, and sincerity in serving those in need,” he added.
He further noted that the presence of the bridge is not merely infrastructure for inter-village connectivity, but also a guardian of civilisation and connector of progress.
“May the Red and White Precision Bridge truly become a connector of progress, a guardian of hope, and a sign that a great nation is one that continuously builds roads for one another. By bridging space, we strengthen civilisation. By building hope, we are reaching towards Indonesia’s Golden Future in 2045,” he stated.
The Red and White Precision Bridge in Gobah Village, Kecamatan Tambang, Kampar District is one of 27 bridge projects constructed by Riau Police within less than a month. The concrete bridge has dimensions of 27.5 metres in length and 4 metres in width.
The presence of this bridge is expected to become a new lifeline that enhances inter-village connectivity and boosts the economic wheel of the local community. Additionally, the bridge also serves as an access route for children to reach their schools.
Local government and residents have received the inauguration with great enthusiasm. For them, every inch of the bridge pavement is a sure step towards a brighter future for the children of Kampar.
