Recruitment of 5,476 Managers for Red and White Fishermen's Villages Officially Opens

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The government today, Wednesday, officially opened the national recruitment for 5,476 special positions for managers of the Red and White Fishermen’s Villages (KNMP).

Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan, in a press conference in Jakarta on Wednesday, emphasised that the selection is conducted openly, transparently, and accountably without any fees.

The open selection is for D3, D4, and S1 graduates from all majors with a maximum age of 35 years and a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.75.

Those who pass will be placed as employees of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) under PT Agrinas Jaladri Nusantara with a Fixed-Term Employment Agreement (PKWT) for two years.

He also emphasised that workforce placement will prioritise local communities.

“If there are two candidates with the same score, then priority is given to those from the nearest area,” he said.

On the same occasion, the Head of the Agency for Extension and Development of Marine and Fisheries Human Resources (BPPSDMKP) Nyoman Radiarta explained that the recruitment for the Red and White Fishermen’s Villages manager positions covers four main roles: manager, head of production, quality assurance, and financial administration.

The government targets the completion of 1,300 Red and White Fishermen’s Villages by the end of this year.

In addition to KNMP, the government is also opening 30,000 positions for Red and White Village/Urban Village Cooperative Managers under Agrinas Pangan Nusantara. Registration runs until 24 April 2026 through the official channel phtc.panselnas.go.id.
