Recruitment fraud

Recruitment fraud

From Neraca

Earlier this month, 13 young men came to the Telkom office on
Jl. Gatot Subroto, South Jakarta. They had apparently been
deceived while trying to find employment in this office.

The men said they had given money ranging from Rp 350,000 to
Rp 2,000,000 to a person identified as RH. RH promised that he
could arrange for them to become Telkom employees.

It later became known that RH was a former employee of a
foundation under Telkom's management. Fortunately the man has now
been detained by the authorities.

Most of the victims had a high school education, and some of
them were university graduates.

I would like to warn the public to be on the alert against
such fraud. Telkom always carries out its recruitment by making
an announcement in the media, and the applicants are not charged
any fees whatsoever.
