The police, in collaboration with the Yogyakarta District Attorney’s Office and the DIY High Prosecutor’s Office, will conduct a reconstruction of the alleged violence case at the Little Aresha Daycare in Yogyakarta. The suspects will also be present during the reconstruction process.

This was announced by the Acting Head of Public Relations for the Yogyakarta City Police, Inspector Dani Hasan. The reconstruction will take place at the crime scene, located in Umbulharjo, Yogyakarta City.

‘It is reported that the Child Protection Unit investigators of the Yogyakarta City Police, together with the District and High Prosecutors’ Offices, will carry out a reconstruction of the criminal act of violence against children that occurred at the Little Aresha Daycare on Tuesday, 9 June 2026, at approximately 10:00 WIB,’ Dani told reporters on Monday.

Dani noted that the reconstruction is open to the media, though access will depend on the situation as the reconstruction is being held inside a house. The suspects will also be brought to the scene.

In this case, 13 individuals have been named as suspects and are currently in detention. The Chief of Yogyakarta City Police, Commissioner Eva Guna Pandia, revealed that all 13 suspects are female.

The suspects are identified by the initials DK (51), AP (42), FN (30), NF (26), Lis (34), EN (26), SRm (54), DR (32), HP (47), ZA (30), SRj (50), DO (31), and DM (28).

‘The first is DK, the Chairperson of the Foundation. The second is AP, the headteacher. The other eleven individuals acted as caregivers,’ Pandia explained during a press conference at the Yogyakarta City Police Headquarters on Monday afternoon.
