As a student, I am very much concerned over the behavior of
gays and lesbians, which has become a trend and is apparently
accepted as something normal by part of our society, as long as
no disturbance is caused.

Miss Transvestite Indonesia 2005 has been crowned and a gay
couple's marriage reported, meaning that the status of this
"third sex" group is recognized by the country known as a less
permissive nation.

As the world's largest Muslim-majority country, we should be
cautious about accepting any culture alien to us. Therefore, I
would like to appeal that the relevant authorities take action to
make this group aware of its position so as to avoid confusion
over the role of women.
