Receiving the Impactful Exemplary Muzakki Award, Here is Sandiaga Uno's Response

Founder of Yayasan Indonesia Setara (YIS), Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, received the Impactful Exemplary Muzakki Award. He invited all parties to collaborate in economic growth. This was conveyed by Sandiaga Uno after attending to receive the Happiness Award in the Impactful Exemplary Muzakki category at the Public Expose of Rumah Zakat for 2026, held at The Sultan Hotel & Residence in Jakarta on Wednesday (8/4/2026). Also present on that occasion were the 13th Vice President of Indonesia, Ma’ruf Amin, and related stakeholders. “I respect Rumah Zakat, many of my friends are present here. I am very flattered to be invited to this blessed event,” said Sandiaga Uno. Sandiaga Uno admitted that if all parties collaborate in the Exemplary Muzakki Award, it can drive economic growth, especially in the Islamic economy. “I agree with the name of this award, the Happiness Award, because the Exemplary Muzakki is a muzakki with the highest level of happiness. Because it’s not us who are sharing, but rather we ourselves who gain the benefits,” he explained. Sandiaga Uno shared the story of how he first came to know Rumah Zakat in the past and hopes to continue contributing to collaborations for the advancement of the community’s economy. “I see that Rumah Zakat has transformed; I used to know it as Dompet Sosial Umu Kubro, that was the first time I met Abdul Zaki, who is now Rumah Zakat,” said Sandiaga Uno. Various collaborative programmes with Rumah Zakat will also continue to be pursued by Sandiaga Uno; he also hopes that all parties can support Rumah Zakat with various strategic and beneficial cooperative efforts for the community. “We also have a joint programme from mustahik to muzakki; insya Allah, we can collaborate with Yayasan Indonesia Setara, Rocket Youth Entrepreneurship, and Desa Emas,” he continued. In his closing remarks, Sandiaga Uno mentioned that many people gave speeches but rarely with pantun. “I want to gift a closing pantun. Many gave speeches but without pantun, even though President Prabowo likes santun. Earlier I thought Pak Kiai was also a contestant in the 2019 presidential election, but Abah yai (Ma’ruf Amin) was the lucky one, happy too. I want to give a pantun,” added Sandiaga Uno. “Don’t underestimate small steps, insya Allah they will grow into strength. From mustahik to muzakki we strive for, together with Rumah Zakat we spread benefits,” he said.
