Recalling undemocratic

Sinar Pagi published an article entitled Mega stresses no
recalling for PDI. The paper also said that the Chairperson of
Indonesian Democratic Party (PDI), Megawati, will issue an
instruction to the effect that PDI will not recall its members
from the Legislative Bodies. This shows that Mega has been mature
in making decision.

Recalling a member indicates incapability of the party
concerned to anticipate the aspiration of its members. The
members who criticize the government are of the opinion that some
policies of the government can be disadvantageous to the country.
And so the recalling system is contradictory to the Pancasila
democracy.
