Rebel in Holland urges RP attacks
MANILA (AFP): Philippine officials are to lodge a formal
complaint with the Netherlands over an Utrecht-based communist
leader's order for guerrillas to step up attacks against Filipino
troops.
A senior aide to President Joseph Estrada said on Thursday
Manila was incensed over comments made by National Democratic
Front (NDF) chairman Luis Jalandoni on an NDF website.
Jalandoni advised the New People's Army (NPA) to "intensify
its tactical offensives against the armed forces, the Philippine
National Police and paramilitary forces."
Zamora said the Philippine government will send the evidence
to the Dutch embassy here to support Manila's earlier request to
have Jalandoni and several other exiled communist guerrilla
leaders expelled from the Netherlands.
