Reasons PKS Removed Khoirudin from Position as Chairman of DKI Jakarta DPRD

The Central Leadership Council (DPTP) of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) has addressed the replacement of the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Khoirudin, with Suhud Alynudin.

PKS Secretary General, Muhammad Kholid, stated that the change is a normal right and part of the tour of duty. This is because the position of DPRD Chairman is a task assigned by the party to its cadres.

“Tour of duty is a normal matter in the party. Because the position in the DPRD is an assignment given by the party to its cadres,” Kholid said when contacted on Wednesday (22/4).

According to him, Khoirudin is now receiving a new task in the party as part of the central leadership management, previously at the regional level.

Meanwhile, Suhud Alynudin, who serves as Chairman of the PKS DKI Jakarta Regional Leadership Council (DPW), will continue Khoirudin’s leadership duties.

“Meanwhile, Mr Suhud Alynudin as Chairman of DPW DKI Jakarta will continue the leadership duties of Mr Khoirudin. The relay of tasks and responsibilities is a form of tour of duty carried out by the party,” he said.

The PKS Faction in the DKI Jakarta DPRD previously announced the appointment of Suhud Alynudin as Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, replacing Khoirudin.

The replacement was confirmed by the Chairman of the PKS Faction in the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Muhammad Taufik Zulkifli. The decision for the replacement has been set by the PKS DPTP.

“The current Chairman of the DKI Jakarta Provincial DPRD is indeed the right of the PKS Faction for that position,” said MTZ, the familiar name for Muhammad Taufik Zulkifli, in Jakarta on Tuesday (21/4).
