The issuer managing KFC in Indonesia, PT Fast Food Indonesia Tbk (FAST), recorded a consolidated loss of Rp 369.2 billion in 2025. The company reported consolidated short-term liabilities amounting to Rp 1.99 trillion, a figure that exceeds the consolidated current assets of Rp 667 billion.

“Management continues to actively manage the Group’s liquidity and remains confident in the Group’s ability to meet its financial obligations when due,” FAST’s management stated in the financial report issued in the disclosure of information on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, quoted on Monday, 20 April 2026.

According to the company, the loss was influenced by macroeconomic challenges stemming from geopolitical tensions in the Middle East as well as weakening consumer purchasing power.

In response to the situation, the company stated that it has proactively implemented various strategic initiatives. One of them is strengthening core business performance and market competitiveness by leveraging brand equity, optimising product mix through enhancements to core menu items, and applying disciplined pricing and bundling strategies to increase average transaction value and margins.

The company also reinforced cost control discipline by implementing efficiencies in promotions, packaging, supplier management, and reducing reliance on sales driven by discount programmes. In addition, the issuer with the stock code FAST strengthened liquidity management by prioritising cash outflows for essential operational needs.

In its statement, FAST’s management acknowledged that the current conditions faced are highly challenging. “Management has evaluated the factors related to the Group’s current condition and remains confident that the Group has the ability to continue its operations and meet its obligations in normal business activities,” management said.
