Reason Revealed Behind Sub-District Official Sharing Rio Haryanto's Documents on Social Media
The reason behind a Penumping Sub-District Office employee, identified as A, sharing documents belonging to Rio Haryanto has been revealed. A reportedly posted the documents because of a sense of pride.
"From the clarification, the employee said it was pride — there was a personal satisfaction in serving a public figure, but that pride then became excessive to the point of uploading the documents," said the Head of the Solo City Civil Service and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM), Beni Supartono Putro, at his office on Thursday (19/2/2026).
According to him, services that should remain private were instead made available for public consumption. As such, A's action of uploading the documents was deemed inappropriate.
"This was the type of service that is not meant for the public or for personal sharing, yet it was shared on media. That is what we consider inappropriate. Had the employee perhaps uploaded a photo with the individual at the time of receiving the service, I don't think there would have been any issue," he explained.
According to him, based on A's admission, this was the first time the employee had done such a thing — sharing Rio Haryanto's documents and an inheritance certificate on a personal social media account. Beni noted that after uploading the photos on social media, the employee promptly deleted them.
"Based on the employee's admission, it was only that one time, and it was deleted not long afterwards. That is what the individual conveyed. But we are still examining this further. We cannot simply rely on one person's account — we also need to cross-reference it with statements from the current supervisor, including previous supervisors," he concluded.
